I shopped at the PC Club in San Diego a number of times. I was surprised when it closed but in hindsight I shouldn't have been. That whole area used to be full of mom and pop computer shops. Now they are all gone. Only "big box" stores remain. I do most of my computer shopping at newegg and amazon now. I bought at least 4 machines at PC Club in San Diego and spent thousands on the machines and accessories. It looks like that store used to occupy the old Bacchanal location which was a famous club where a lot of big bands used to play until around 1990. Then it was empty for a while and it looks like PC Club moved in. I had no idea when I was shopping there that the location had seen so much musical talent. It is totally a hole in the wall strip mall place. You would never expect it.

Is there a story of PC Club on here anywhere? I don't see anything about who started it, why, where it was headquartered, or what ultimately happened (aside from obviously going out of business in a bad economy).
